IonPlus Simple To Use Controls

The controls on the IonPlus Undersink Water Ionizer are simple to use. There is an alkaline button, an acid button, and an on/off button – Simple. If you want water, you press the on/off button. You use the alkaline or acid water button to choose which pH level of water you want. Alkaline 3 is the recommended drinking water level because it creates a glass of water similar to what you’d find in a pristine spring or glacial stream. Alkaline 4 is the super-alkaline water button. You use super-alkaline water for cooking. It can neutralize oil-based stains so it can get the oil-based pesticides off of your fruits and vegetables. The acid water button can create two levels of acidic water. The acid 1 level is a mildly acidic water used for watering houseplants and washing the face as beauty water. The acid 2 level is a stronger acidic water that you can use to kill germs. The IonPlus offers a patented filtration system designed to give you a clean and delicious glass of alkaline ionized water every time. First, the water passes through a sediment layer to get the large particles of of your water, then it goes through a bed of activated carbon to remove chlorine, bacteria, and other common contaminants. Next, the water goes through a filter with a series of three ceramic layers each designed to target specific and difficult to remove contaminants such as heavy metals, chloramines, and even leftover pharmaceutical drugs. IonPlus Easy to Install

The IonPlus Undersink Water Ionizer is easy to install. First, you need a 1.25 inch hole, which is the same size as the utility holes that are a part of most stainless steel sinks. Often times these utility holes will have a soap dispenser or a sprayer already installed in them, which you will have to remove. Once you have your hole clear, you can drop in the IonPlus faucet. A stainless steel stem will drop down into the hole. You use the provided nut to screw up the stem and tighten the faucet to your countertop. Under your sink, you need to locate your cold water line spigot and turn off the water by turning the knob to the left. Next, you remove the 3/8 or 1/2 inch hose that’s attached to the spigot by unscrewing it. Next, take the cold water line diverter valve provided with your IonPlus and screw it into the cold water spigot. Then screw in the hose to the other side of the cold water line diverter valve so that it is installed between the hose and the spigot. Next, attach the tube to the cold water line diverter valve by pushing it in and attach the other end to the WATER INPUT under the IonPlus base. Finally, attach the tubes between the base and the faucet and also the communication cable and you’re all set! Typical installation time is 20 minutes. If you need to drill a hole using a carbide saw, then factor in another 15 minutes. Most customers do not need plumbers to install the IonPlus.
